Ariesti looked at Nexus; she noticed the glimmer and her eyes narrowed just slightly, in curiosity as to what had just happened. "If our... parents still force us into this marriage... which continent would you be ruling over? I would like to meet a vampire... but, as you stated... none roam here. Do you live in Rosplayn?... and I always found most human-formed beings have emotions... I mean... Look at my brother." She joked and looked at him, then turned serious. "I really like that idea of putting an end to how they're treated."

"If I can help rule Forelock...with you of course, being this marriage" He wouldn't leave her out of it, he needed the most help he can get right now. Especially when it came to Ariesti, he needed her support the most right now, it was evident to see that he was a determine man. "I know I can end this as fast as it began, its Forelock's own rules that inflicts so much pain on those who deserves so little pain. I see so many suffer, and it pains me"

Ariesti looked at him, suspicion still in her eyes. "You don't want this, do you?" She suddenly asked and scooted closer to him. "You, like me, have someone else in mind, don't you? You would much rather fall back on your idea of a partnership, isn't that right?" She asked. She lightly bit her lip and forced herself to look into his eyes. "There is something greater as to why you want to eliminate all this pain for vampires... But I wonder why..." She wondered out loud, then leaned back. She fell to silence and simply felt the carriage bump around along the dirt road. She huffed, "I really do dislike carriages..." She stated, then looked down to the little bit of shadows formed within the carriage from leaving the blind partially open.

"The world is covered in pain, its just about time the change happens" He had brushed off the comment she had made previously before, she knew, he had nothing to say to disagree with his question. He did have someone, however, he was unable to have her, just as she wasn't able too. He knew he could learn to love Ari, but the woman clouding his thoughts was much more than that to him. He swallowed long and hard as he thought of the next things that would part his lips. "You know princess, I still desire partnership...as if it were love, I doubt its that easy to form...if we don't wed, will we at least consider a friendship?"

A small smile tugged on her lips. "A friendship?" She asked, as though that were something more of a fantasy than an actual action. "Please... don't call me Princess... I don't... like being called that... Ariesti, or even Ari, would be more appreciated... and I would like that... to have another friend." She smiled a little more now. "To restore a new world... with a little less pain." She smiled and held her hand out as if that would confirm the action. "You'll just have to... excuse my thrill for adventure and to... sneak out." She admitted and shrugged as though it were nothing.

The carriage came to a stop, Nexus didn't have the time to reply, but it was evident to see that the two of them would become great friends. The door swung open to reveal a ship. He examined it, as he brought his arm out to the princess hoping she would accept it and allow him to help her down the carriage. Like her he hated carriage, actually he hated anything that wasn't like a horse...the motion made him feel nauseous, and considering they were to enter a ship it wasn't easy. Not on his part anyways. He looked at her as his calm eyes bore into the princess, almost hypnotic in a sense. "Well shall we be off?"

Ariesti looked up into his eyes after he had offered his arm. With a nod, she stepped out of the carriage and walked with him towards the ship. Never before had she been on a ship. "What are ships like?" She asked him, a small edge of excitement sneaking into her voice. "Aye, me Princess... it tis but a favored mode of traveling we sea-folk like to use. To feel the warm sea-breeze brushing up the tips of the waves and splashing you with the water.... Aye, tis a relaxing feeling, it is." A woman greeted from behind them. She was looking down, putting bullets in a revolver. She slapped it closed, aimed off in the distance, then placed it in the holder on her hip. "Prince Nexus, long time no see." She greeted, still without looking to them. She then walked past them, then paused. Slowly, she turned around. Ariesti gasped softly at the woman in front of her with evenly tanned skin that made her orange hair pop out. Ari looked at Nexus, then back to the woman as she walked to her father and brother's carriage.

Lucas had excited the carriage, however; the king took his time before exiting, Nexus had walked off with the woman, leaving only the three of them together, it was a matter of time however, before Edwin had made his appearance, his frame seemed to fit on his horse. Even if it did have a pair of wings. Edwin stroke its main, and with a lost language he had ordered it to allow him to disembark. "Carman'" Was all he ordered, and it leaned forward allowing Edwin to slide himself off. He looked at the three and smiled, even though he knew Lucas looked at him with hatred coursing his veins. He looked at the ship, and felt his stomach tighten, he was never great with boats. Before he had the chance to speak, her father had slithered his way through as he exited the carriage, with the help of Edwin of course.
"I certainly hope my beautiful Ariesti, that you make a great impression on Nexus's mother, she is a well respected woman, who's lost both her family, and husband many many years back...She is a soft hearted woman after all"

Ariesti also helped her father out of the carriage and sighed softly. "She didn't lose all her family, father... if she still has Nexus." She pointed out softly, then looked into his eyes. "It seems the captain of the ship knows all of us... but... I thought.. Pirates weren't allowed in Forelock, or any of the continents now." She rhetorically asked, not officially sure. "And why aren't vampires treated like everyone else?" She asked, her voice carrying a little venom on it. "It's not like they're evil... There are more evil and vile things out there than vampires..." She added on and sighed lightly.
Captain Enouska walked out onto her ship with Nexus. She walked past a few of the crewmen as they continued to set up for the short 'ferry' across the ocean to the soon-to-be partner continent of Forelock. Still without looking up, Enouska walked her way to the wheel of the ship; her boots clicking along the wooden planks and her sword lightly tapping against her hip. She wheeled about and finally looked out across the port- she looked at the Lord and his Children to the Prince upon her ship. "Aye, I hate to rush you... but we have a time we be expected to dock in Treset, your Highness!" She called out.

"Oh my child" The King pressed a hand against Ari's face, her skin pale and soft just like her mothers. "You bare the heart of your mothers, and I see a little more of her as you grow older, my most beautiful daughter, much is to be learn if you are to be queen, but let us talk of this on the ship, Lady Enouska is indeed a good friend of ours, for many years, as her father before that...but let us make haste" He had avoided her questions, and it was clear that even if she did beg she wouldn't receive any. The king was a secretive man, but he was still well respected. Lucas looked at Ari, "He never really told you what happened to mother did he" he smirked as he walked away knowing what he had said would prick her curiousity.

As everyone had made it to their places on the ship, and had been settled in, Enouska barked out orders to her crew the the ship had begun it's sail to Treset. The seas that day were set and clear, smooth sailing had been forecasted by the spotter in the mast. Enouska had stood tall and proud at the wheel of the ship. The sky had been a clean slate; no cloud dared cross the sky on the fine day. The sea was calm... perhaps a little calm for the captain's liking. Constantly, her eyes her patrolling the long stretch of near-flat sea... and then she felt her heart sink- the entire trip seemed flawless until now. From the West, what seemed to be a large 'bump' in the Gozen sea was coming towards them... and fast. Enouska kept her eyes trained on the bulge in the water as they moved closer and closer to each other. "Captain!!" The outlooker from the high-mast called. "Aye!" She simply stated back, then began to quickly bark out orders to her crew. "Be sure to have the Family brace themselves!" She snapped. Just on the other side of the hill of water... sat the port they were headed to. And then, what she had expected happened... Just as they were over the hill, and nearly at the port, a large, black-green arm reached up and slammed down into the ship. Surprisingly, for such a ship, it did not buckle under the Squid's arm. By now, the port had been alerted by the crew of the aid they were to need. "Get the Family upon a life-ship!" Enouska shouted eagerly as she tried to steer the ship away from the squid as much as possible as aid began towards them. Crewmembers, quickly ushering the King and his children, along with the Halloween Prince, placed them in a small ship on the far side of the ship to be sent off to another ship. Just as their small boat had made contact to the water, and Enouska and her crew in other boats, the squid snapped her ship into shards of wood. Large waves had rocked all the tiny ships... and Ariesti, Princess of Forelock, was thrown overboard. In all the excitement upon the ships, no one took any notice... The crew of the Treset Ship had hastefully pulled all the crew and passengers aboard their ship. By the time Enouska made it on, the sea was once more calm, and the ship had began its way back to port... Leaving the Princess at sea. Ariesti to 'An Unwanted Savior' Everyone to ...
